Un heap-based buffer overflow nella funzione receive_packet di libusbmuxd/libusbmuxd.c, presente in usbmuxd dalle versioni 1.0.5 alla 1.0.7, consente ad attaccanti fisicamente vicini all'esecuzione di codice arbitrario tramite un campo SerialNumber particolarmente lungo in una property list.
