Un overflow intero nella funzione vfprintf presente nel file stdio-common/vfprintf.c di glibc 2.14 e in altre versioni consente ad attaccanti con contesto noto di eludere il meccanismo di protezione FORTIFY_SOURCE, eseguire attacchi tramite stringa di formato (format string attacks) e scrivere in memoria arbitraria mediante un numero elevato di argomenti.
