Il modulo Network Threat Protection nel componente Manager di Symantec Endpoint Protection (SEP), dalle versioni 11.0.600x alla 11.0.700x su Windows Server 2003, consente ad attaccanti remoti di causare un denial of service (interruzione del web-server o crash/interblocco del daemon) tramite una raffica di pacchetti che innesca il blocco automatizzato del traffico di rete.
