Wireshark 1.4.x prima della versione 1.4.13 e 1.6.x prima della versione 1.6.8 consente agli attaccanti remoti di causare un denial of service (loop infinito) tramite vettori correlati ai dissectors per: (1) ANSI MAP, (2) ASF, (3) IEEE 802.11, (4) IEEE 802.3 e (5) LTP.
