L'hypercall physdev_get_free_pirq in arch/x86/physdev.c di Xen 4.1.x e Citrix XenServer 6.0.2 e versioni precedenti utilizza il valore restituito dalla funzione get_free_pirq come indice di array senza verificare che tale valore indichi un errore, consentendo agli utenti del sistema operativo guest (guest OS) di causare una negazione del servizio (scrittura in memoria non valida e crash dell'host) e potenzialmente ottenere privilegi tramite vettori non specificati.
