Un heap-based buffer overflow nella funzione eap_server_tls_process_fragment di eap_server_tls_common.c nel server di autenticazione EAP presente in hostapd dalle versioni 0.6 alla 1.0 consente ad attaccanti remoti di causare un denial of service (crash o abort) tramite un valore "TLS Message Length" ridotto in un messaggio EAP-TLS con il flag "More Fragments" impostato.
