Il demone HTTP Monkey versione 0.9.3 potrebbe consentire agli utenti locali di sovrascrivere file arbitrari tramite un attacco di tipo symlink su un file PID, come dimostrato da un percorso diverso dal valore predefinito /var/run/monkey.pid.
