Un heap-based buffer overflow in tif_dir.c di LibTIFF prima della versione 4.0.2 consente agli attaccanti remoti di causare un denial of service (crash) ed eventualmente eseguire codice arbitrario tramite un tag DOTRANGE manipolato ad hoc in un'immagine TIFF.
