La funzione dissect_hartip presente nel file epan/dissectors/packet-hartip.c del dissector HART/IP di Wireshark 1.8.x, nelle versioni precedenti alla 1.8.6, consente agli attaccanti remoti di causare un denial of service (loop infinito) tramite un pacchetto con un header troppo corto.
