L'implementazione TCP/IP in Microsoft Windows Vista SP2, Windows Server 2008 SP2 e R2 SP1, Windows 7 SP1, Windows 8, Windows Server 2012 e Windows RT non esegue correttamente l'allocazione di memoria per i pacchetti ICMPv6 in ingresso, consentendo ad attaccanti remoti di causare un denial of service (blocco del sistema) tramite pacchetti manipolati ad hoc, noto come "ICMPv6 Vulnerability".
