Le telecamere IP TP-Link TL-SC3171, TL-SC3130, TL-SC3130G, TL-SC3171G e potenzialmente altri modelli precedenti al firmware beta LM.1.6.18P12_sign6 non restringono correttamente l'accesso a determinate funzioni amministrative, consentendo ad attaccanti remoti di (1) causare un denial of service (riavvio del dispositivo) tramite una richiesta a cgi-bin/reboot o (2) causare un denial of service (riavvio e ripristino delle impostazioni predefinite di fabbrica) tramite una richiesta a cgi-bin/hardfactorydefault.
