L'estensione CentralNotice per MediaWiki precedente alla versione 1.19.9, nelle serie 1.20.x prima della 1.20.8 e nella serie 1.21.x prima della 1.21.3 imposta l'intestazione Cache-Control in modo da memorizzare nella cache i cookie di sessione quando un utente viene creato automaticamente (autocreated), consentendo ad attaccanti remoti di autenticarsi come l'utente creato.
