Un heap-based buffer overflow nella funzione ms_escher_get_data presente nel file plugins/excel/ms-escher.c di GNOME Office Gnumeric, nelle versioni precedenti alla 1.12.9, consente ad attaccanti remoti di provocare un denial of service (crash) tramite un file xls manipolato contenente un valore length fraudolento.
