Un overflow intero nella funzione png_set_unknown_chunks in libpng/pngset.c di libpng precedente alla versione 1.5.14beta08 consente ad attaccanti con dipendenza dal contesto di causare un denial of service (segmentation fault e crash) tramite un'immagine manipolata ad hoc, che innesca un heap-based buffer overflow.
