EMC RSA BSAFE Micro Edition Suite (MES) nelle versioni 3.2.x precedenti alla 3.2.6 e 4.0.x precedenti alla 4.0.5 non convalida correttamente le catene di certificati X.509, consentendo agli attaccanti man-in-the-middle di effettuare spoofing dei server SSL tramite una catena di certificati costruita ad hoc.
