Il processo authentication-manager nel framework web di Cisco Intrusion Prevention System (IPS) 7.0(8)E4 e versioni precedenti in Cisco Intrusion Detection System (IDS) non gestisce correttamente i token utente, consentendo ad attaccanti remoti di causare un denial of service (blocco temporaneo del MainApp) tramite una richiesta di connessione manipolata all'interfaccia di gestione, noto anche come Bug ID CSCuq39550.
