D-Bus dalle versioni 1.3.0 alla 1.6.x precedenti alla 1.6.24 e dalla versione 1.8.x alla 1.8.7 non chiude correttamente le connessioni per i processi terminati, consentendo agli utenti locali di causare un denial of service tramite un messaggio D-Bus contenente un file descriptor della connessione D-Bus.
