La funzionalità di elaborazione dei pacchetti L2TP nei prodotti firewall Juniper Netscreen e ScreenOS con ScreenOS precedente alla versione 6.3.0r13-dnd1, nelle versioni da 6.3.0r14 a 6.3.0r18 precedenti alla 6.3.0r18-dnc1, e nella versione 6.3.0r19 consente agli attaccanti remoti di causare un denial of service tramite un pacchetto L2TP manipolato ad hoc.
