Una race condition nella funzione tty_ioctl in drivers/tty/tty_io.c nel kernel Linux fino alla versione 4.4.1 consente agli utenti locali di ottenere informazioni sensibili dalla memoria del kernel o causare un denial of service (use-after-free e crash del sistema) effettuando una chiamata ioctl TIOCGETD durante l'elaborazione di una chiamata ioctl TIOCSETD.
