Un overflow intero nel costruttore PointGFp di Botan, nelle versioni precedenti alla 1.10.11 e nelle serie 1.11.x precedenti alla 1.11.27, consente agli attaccanti remoti di sovrascrivere la memoria ed eventualmente eseguire codice arbitrario tramite un punto ECC manipolato ad hoc, che innesca un heap-based buffer overflow.
