Il file mime_header.cc di Squid prima della versione 3.5.18 consente agli attaccanti remoti di eludere le restrizioni previste per lo stesso origine (same-origin) e potenzialmente condurre attacchi di cache poisoning tramite un'intestazione HTTP Host creata ad hoc, nota come problema "header smuggling".
