In ImageMagick 7.0.7-4 Q16 è stata rilevata una vulnerabilità di memory leak nella funzione ReadVIPSImage presente nel file coders/vips.c, che consente agli attaccanti di causare un denial of service (aumento del consumo di memoria in ResizeMagickMemory in MagickCore/memory.c) tramite un file manipolato ad hoc.
