ruby-ffi versione 1.9.23 e precedenti presentano un problema di caricamento delle DLL che può essere sfruttato sui sistemi operativi Windows quando viene utilizzato un Symbol come nome della DLL anziché una Stringa. Questa vulnerabilità sembra essere stata risolta a partire dalla versione v1.9.24.
