In fuse prima delle versioni 2.9.8 e nelle serie 3.x precedenti alla versione 3.2.5, fusermount è vulnerabile a un bypass delle restrizioni quando SELinux è attivo. Ciò consente agli utenti non root di montare un filesystem FUSE con l'opzione di montaggio 'allow_other', indipendentemente dal fatto che 'user_allow_other' sia impostato nella configurazione fuse. Un attaccante potrebbe sfruttare questa falla per montare un filesystem FUSE accessibile ad altri utenti e indurli ad accedere ai file su tale filesystem, causando potenzialmente una Denial of Service (DoS) o altri effetti non specificati.
