È stato riscontrato che l'utilizzo della funzione snprintf nel traduttore feature/locks del server glusterfs 3.8.4, così come distribuito con Red Hat Gluster Storage, era vulnerabile a un attacco di tipo format string attack. Un attaccante remoto autenticato potrebbe sfruttare questa falla per causare una denial of service (DoS) remota.
