In OpenJPEG 2.3.0, è presente un integer overflow causato da uno shift a sinistra fuori dai limiti nella funzione opj_j2k_setup_encoder (openjp2/j2k.c). Gli attaccanti remoti potrebbero sfruttare questa vulnerabilità per provocare una denial of service tramite un file bmp manipolato ad hoc.
