È stato rilevato un problema nelle versioni di Icinga da 2.x fino alla 2.8.1. Inviando richieste appositamente create (sia autenticate che non autenticate), un attaccante può esaurire una grande quantità di memoria sul lato server, attivando l'OOM killer.
