The Sleuth Kit 4.6.0 e versioni precedenti sono affette da Integer Overflow. L'impatto è il seguente: l'apertura di un'immagine del disco manipolata ad hoc provoca un crash in tsk/fs/hfs_dent.c:237. Il componente interessato è l'overflow nello strumento fls utilizzato su immagini HFS. Il bug si trova nel file tsk/fs/hfs.c, nella funzione hfs_cat_traverse(), alle righe 952 e 1062. La vettore di attacco richiede che la vittima apra un'immagine del filesystem HFS manipolata ad hoc.
