In Wireshark 3.0.0 fino a 3.0.2, 2.6.0 fino a 2.6.9 e 2.4.0 fino a 2.4.15, il dissector ASN.1 BER e i dissectors correlati potevano causare un crash. Questo problema è stato risolto in epan/asn1.c limitando correttamente gli incrementi del buffer.
