Multiple vulnerabilità in Cisco Webex Network Recording Player per Microsoft Windows e Cisco Webex Player per Microsoft Windows potrebbero consentire a un attaccante di eseguire codice arbitrario su un sistema interessato. Le vulnerabilità esistono perché il software interessato non convalida correttamente i file Advanced Recording Format (ARF) e Webex Recording Format (WRF). Un attaccante potrebbe sfruttare queste vulnerabilità inviando a un utente un file ARF o WRF dannoso tramite un link o un allegato email e inducendo l'utente ad aprire il file con il software interessato sul sistema locale. Un exploit riuscito potrebbe consentire all'attaccante di eseguire codice arbitrario sul sistema interessato con i privilegi dell'utente target.
