Un utente autorizzato a eseguire query sul database può causare un denial of service emettendo query appositamente create, che utilizzano l'operatore $mod per generare un overflow di valori negativi. Questo problema interessa: MongoDB Inc. MongoDB Server v4.4 nelle versioni precedenti alla 4.4.1; v4.2 nelle versioni precedenti alla 4.2.9; v4.0 nelle versioni precedenti alla 4.0.20; v3.6 nelle versioni precedenti alla 3.6.20.
