DaviewIndy 8.98.9 e versioni precedenti presentano una vulnerabilità di heap-based buffer overflow, attivata quando l'utente apre un file PDF non valido che viene gestito in modo errato da Daview.exe. Gli attaccanti potrebbero sfruttare questa condizione per eseguire codice arbitrario (arbitrary code execution).
