Le versioni di DaviewIndy precedenti alla 8.98.4 e la versione 8.98.4 presentano una vulnerabilità heap-based overflow, attivata quando l'utente apre un file specifico malformato che viene gestito in modo errato da Daview.exe. Gli attaccanti potrebbero sfruttare questa condizione per eseguire codice arbitrario.
