IBM Db2 per Linux, UNIX e Windows (include il server Db2 Connect) versione 11.5 con configurazione Federated è vulnerabile a un overflow del buffer basato sullo stack (stack-based buffer overflow), causato da una verifica dei limiti non corretta. Un utente locale dotato di privilegi SYSADM potrebbe provocare l'overflow del buffer ed eseguire codice arbitrario sul sistema. IBM X-Force ID: 257763.
