È stata identificata una vulnerabilità in RUGGEDCOM RST2228 (tutte le versioni < V5.9.0) e RUGGEDCOM RST2228P (tutte le versioni < V5.9.0). Il server web dei sistemi interessati trasmette la chiave MACSEC in chiaro a un utente autenticato. Un attaccante in possesso delle credenziali di un utente con privilegi ridotti potrebbe recuperare la chiave MACSEC e accedere (decifrare) i frame Ethernet inviati dai destinatari autorizzati.
