È presente un reflected cross site scripting (XSS) in Esri Portal for ArcGIS 11.1 e versioni precedenti su Windows e Linux x64, che consente a un attaccante remoto autenticato con accesso amministrativo di fornire una stringa manipolata ad hoc, potenzialmente eseguendo codice JavaScript arbitrario nel proprio browser (Self XSS). Un utente non può essere indotto in phishing tramite il clic su un link per eseguire del codice.
