Il commit wac 385e1 è stato scoperto contenere un heap-based buffer overflow tramite la funzione interpret in /wac-asan/wa.c. Questa vulnerabilità consente agli attaccanti di causare un Denial of Service (DoS) mediante un file wasm manipolato ad hoc.
