Libarchive fino alla versione 3.7.7 presenta un heap-based buffer over-read nella funzione header_gnu_longlink di archive_read_support_format_tar.c tramite un archivio TAR, poiché gestisce erroneamente la troncatura nel mezzo del nome lungo GNU (GNU long linkname).
