Nei dispositivi SiWx91x, l'algoritmo SHA2/224 restituisce un hash di 256 bit invece che di 224 bit. Questa lunghezza errata dell'hash innesca una violazione delle asserzioni software (software assertion), causando successivamente un Denial of Service (DoS). Se è implementato un watchdog, il dispositivo si riavvia allo scadere del timeout del watchdog. Se il watchdog non è implementato, il dispositivo può essere ripristinato solo tramite un hard reset.
