Cryptography è un pacchetto progettato per esporre primitive e ricette crittografiche agli sviluppatori Python. Dalla versione 45.0.0 fino alla precedente la 46.0.7, se veniva passato un buffer non contiguo alle API che accettavano buffer Python (ad esempio Hash.update()), ciò poteva portare a heap-based buffer overflow. Questa vulnerabilità è stata risolta nella versione 46.0.7.
