The unauthenticated wizard request is translated into the privileged backend operation esps.wan set, allowing a remote attacker to modify WAN mode, static IP settings, DNS servers, and PPPoE parameters before login. Successful exploitation can disrupt connectivity or redirect traffic through attacker-controlled network settings. |
