| Titolo | invoiceninja Invoice Ninja 5.13.26 Server-Side Request Forgery |
|---|
| Descrizione | A Server-Side Request Forgery (SSRF) vulnerability exists in Invoice Ninja's PDF rendering pipeline due to insufficient validation of external URLs embedded within rich-text content.
The vulnerability stems from the application's hostname validation logic, which relies on string-based blacklist heuristics rather than resolving hostnames to their final IP addresses before allowing requests.
Because Invoice Ninja generates PDF documents server-side using a headless Chromium renderer, an attacker can embed references to attacker-controlled domains that later resolve to internal or restricted network addresses. During PDF generation, the server fetches these resources, resulting in server-side requests initiated from the application's infrastructure. |
