| Titolo | Yot Content Management System 3.3.1 Authorization Bypass Through User-Controlled SQL Primary Key |
|---|
| Descrizione | YOT III automatically authenticates visitors by reading cookies yot3_user and yot3_pass and passing them to the deprecated login() helper in global.php. That helper concatenates the cookie username directly into a MySQL query and then trusts the returned password and admin columns. An unauthenticated attacker can craft a malicious yot3_user cookie containing a UNION SELECT payload that returns a known password value and admin=3, set yot3_pass to the same value, and obtain a super-administrator PHP session on the next request. |
