A low-privileged registered user can cause the backend to start an attacker-controlled process in the application runtime. The process runs with the privileges of the API service (root ) and inherits the service environment, including application secrets and database credentials. Successful exploitation allows full compromise of the affected SurfSense instance. User interaction is not required beyond a valid session。 |
