| 説明 | OpenARC contains a NULL pointer dereference in `arc_parse_canon_t()` when processing the `c=` canonicalization tag of an ARC signature header. If the tag specifies only one canonicalization algorithm, the parser treats the omitted second value as NULL and passes it to a string-comparison function, causing a segmentation fault.
The single-value form is permitted by the applicable specification, which requires the omitted value to be replaced with a default. A remote unauthenticated attacker can trigger the vulnerability by sending a message containing a complete ARC header set with a single-value `c=` tag.
Successful exploitation crashes the ARC verification process and may interrupt mail processing, resulting in denial of service. |
