sandbox/seunshare.c의 seunshare 함수에서 특정 Red Hat policycoreutils 패키지(2.0.83 및 이전 버전)는 RHEL 6 및 이전 버전과 Fedora 14 및 이전 버전에서 /tmp 위에 루트 소유권(sticky bit 포함)을 할당하지 않은 새 디렉토리를 마운트합니다. 이로 인해 로컬 사용자는 ksu 애플리케이션으로 시연된 바와 같이, /tmp를 의존하는 setuid 애플리케이션을 실행하여 임의의 /tmp 파일을 교체하거나 삭제할 수 있으며, 결과적으로 서비스 거부(Denial of Service)를 유발하거나 특권 상승(privilege escalation)이 가능해집니다.
