Linux 커널의 arch/arm/kernel/sys_oabi-compat.c에 있는 sys_oabi_semtimedop 함수에서 정수 오버플로우(Integer overflow) 취약점이 발견되었습니다. ARM 플랫폼에서 CONFIG_OABI_COMPAT가 활성화된 상태인 2.6.39 이전 버전의 Linux kernel은 조작된 인수를 제공하고 Race Condition을 악용할 경우, 로컬 사용자가 권한 상승(Privilege Escalation)을 수행하거나 서비스 거부(DOS: 힙 메모리 손상)를 유발할 수 있습니다.
