MySQL Multi-Master Replication Manager (MMM)의 mmm_agentd 2.2.1(Solaris용)에 있는 MMM::Agent::Helpers::Network::add_ip 함수에서, 특별히 조작된 MMM 프로토콜 메시지는 셸 명령어 인젝션(shell command injection)을 유발하여 mmm\_agentd 프로세스의 권한으로 임의의 명령어를 실행할 수 있습니다. mmm\_agentd와 TCP 세션을 시작할 수 있는 공격자는 이 취약점을 트리거할 수 있습니다.
