smpeg 2.0.0 이전 버전에는 MPEGsystem.cpp의 stream_header() 함수에서 정수 오버플로우(integer underflow) 취약점이 존재하며, 공격자가 undersized packet length를 선언하여 packet_size가 wrap되도록 할 수 있습니다. 공격자는 SMPEG_new, SMPEG_new_rwops 또는 SMPEG_new_data를 통해 열려지는 조작된 MPEG 파일을 제공하여 도달 가능한 assertion이나 out-of-bounds copy를 유발하고 애플리케이션을 충돌시킬 수 있습니다.
