Nodemailer 버전 9.1.0부터 10.0.4까지에는 RFC 5322 주석이 포함된 이메일 주소 파싱 시 addressparser 컴포넌트에서 이차 시간 복잡도(quadratic time complexity) 취약점이 존재합니다. 공격자는 댓글로 구분된 원자(comment-separated atoms)를 포함하는 악성 이메일 헤더를 작성하여 과도한 CPU 리소스를 소모하고 Node.js 이벤트 루프를 수 초 동안 차단함으로써 서비스 거부(Denial of Service, DoS)를 유발할 수 있습니다.
